Urban Movement Arts

Urban Movement Arts (UMA) is a dance studio in Philadelphia that welcomes adults of all ages and experience levels to explore new ways of moving and being. I spent five years on the UMA team as a media manager and creative. Each week I shot, edited, and published photos and videos of classes, community members, events, and more. I also worked in this capacity for the studio’s youth program, MoveMakers Philly.

Alongside my contributions as a creative, I taught hip hop dance for three and half years in the youth program. Today, I’m an active community member, attending classes and refining my movement practice.

Below is a selection of photos, videos, and posts I created.
